Why Monarchs Matter:
The migratory monarch butterfly, famous for its epic journey to California and Mexico during the winter, has been added to the "Red List" by the International Union for Conservation of Nature, marking it as endangered. Factors such as deforestation, pesticide use, and climate change have drastically reduced monarch populations. Monarch Fest is a celebration of these resilient creatures, especially the "Adirondack" monarchs that travel nearly 3,000 miles to their wintering grounds.

Come celebrate with us and support the conservation of monarchs and other pollinators!
